Banquet Event Information

• Capacity varies with table arrangement, bar set up, audio visual, live music etc…
• Parties larger than 10 people are required to pre-select a menu
• Food and beverage minimums may be assigned for each room
• Muriel’s Jackson Square reserves the right to change groups to function rooms more suitable for guaranteed attendance
• A banquet event order must be signed in order to reserve space, a 50% deposit will be required upon signature of banquet event order to confirm the reservation or the space may be released
• Muriel’s Jackson Square will be happy to hold a space tentatively. A signed banquet event order and deposit are required or the space will be released at the discretion of Muriel’s Jackson Square

Menus: Please pre-select a menu a minimum of 1 month prior to the event. Please use our banquet menus to guide your selections. We will be happy to assist you with menu selection and planning. We will print personalized menus for each place setting on the night of the event at no additional fee.
Guarantees: The guaranteed number of guest expected to attend is required 7 working days prior to event. This guaranteed number will be considered the number for which you will be charged even if fewer guest attend. If the actual count is higher than anticipated we will charge accordingly. Arrival time must also be guaranteed. A late fee of 10% of contracted price may be assessed for every 30 minutes after the guaranteed arrival time
Cancellations: All contracted events must be cancelled 14 working days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellation of an entire event later than 14 days of the event will require a forfeiture of deposit or 50% of guarantee whichever is greater
Live Entertainment/Floral arrangements/Audio Visual: Muriel’s Jackson Square will be happy to coordinate live music, entertainment, audio visual needs, floral needs, wedding officiates etc. Muriel’s Jackson Square will add these incidentals to the banquet event order. If you would like to handle these arrangements please inform Muriel’s of the delivery/pick-up arrangements you have made.
Parking: Validated parking, If available, is provided for $8.00 per person at the following garages; French Market Parking lot on the river entrance at St. Louis and Decatur also Vieux Carre Parking at 535 Chartres St. 1 ½ blocks from Jackson Square
